ROFLMAO, gotta love Phillipe! Especially in the Trick riding act. Funnily enough I'm listening to that music RIGHT NOW. I bought the CD and the track is 'Cavalcade'.
Yay! Another Cavalia fan! I worked at the show in the stables. It was Normand Latourelle's thank you for helping them to come to Santa Monica, CA. Where did you see the show? I have some funny stories of Phillipe if you are interested....let me know! Thanks so much for your comment!

Well, for the Bungee Cavalier act, I wuold get Phillipe's horse ready for him to mount as soon as he came offstage from the trick riding act. Anyway, he had to do a quick costume change and get his hair put up. Then when he was ready, he would mount up and as he rode onto stage he would blow kisses or thank me and stretch his arm out to me like he didn't want to leave me. It was so funny and then as soon as he was on stage he was all serious again! There was another time when during the trick riding act (Cavalcade), he ran out on stage, but then a few other trick riders came out from the opposite side and they were headed right for him! Now that wasn't supposed to happen, but he fixed it by diving towards the side of the stage (closest side to the audience). All you heard was this loud thud, but he got up and acted like nothing wrong had happened.
For Christmas, there was a contest to see who could come up with the most creative ornament....and it was Phillipe (in my opinion). He made an ornament out of a piece of horse poop and hung it on the tree. It was so funny and really rather creative...although I don't think I want to know how he got the string through it to hang it up.
You could never understand what the heck he said because he spoke so fast in French (although I think that he was really just mushing his words together). So he would be talking to you and you would pretend to understand and then he would try to understand what you said and then it would all go to hell!
I have an idea for you. A friend of mine and I have created a Cavalia blub on here, if you are interested in joining....

ROFLMAO. I wish I could've been there. Hopefully they will come back around to Houston. When they do, I want to get the Rendevous package. But I'll probably be so nervous ( my french is terrible) I'll only want to see the horses. LOL
